The Millburn Magic were unable to overcome last year’s national champions the Long Island Fury yesterday, losing 2-0 at the hands of the 2009 National Champions in a well balanced game between last year’s two regional finalists.

The Jersey Select were unable to repeat their opening-day victory against a resurgent ASA Chesapeake Charge Monday, losing 4-0 in front of home fans at Paul VI High School.

It was another productive weekend for the Millburn Magic girls’ teams, who travelled through to Neptune with their Colonials counterparts to test their skills, with a range of results proving that the squads are advancing well in the early part of the summer.

New Jersey Soccer Group (New Jersey Blaze): Buffalo Complete Season Sweeop of Blaze

Buffalo got their second win out of two in Lakewood against the Blaze, despite the general momentum of the game.

Youth Premier Soccer League: Sting Bounce Back in NH Sunday

The Maine Sting were sure to not fall into the same traps as they did when they played the New Jersey Blaze the day before, this time triumphing over the Morris County Colonials.

Youth Premier Soccer League: Blaze Prove a Point in New Hampshire

I went on the road with the New Jersey Blaze over the weekend, taking them to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. They proved their worth despite the long trip and played their hearts out, getting a great result in Manchester, NH, on this occasion.

Youth Premier Soccer League: Western Mass Mutiny Start Strong vs Lynx

The Western Mass Mutiny would have an excellent run of results over the weekend, with the Lynx score being perhaps the most tame of them all.

The Erie Admirals are about to play the Blaze in the first of two games to see if they can overcome teams they were previously defeated by, except this time on home turf.

The Erie Admirals visited New Jersey to take on the Blaze and see if they could repeat their 4-1 win over the squad. It wouldn't work out for them that way, though they would claim all three points.

Last time the Jersey Select played the Philadelphia Independence, it looked like the team would have walked away from Downingtown, PA with one point. However, it was not to be, though the Select will be aiming to

South Jersey United FC are looking to get themselves back on track after a loss to the Millburn Magic, and it duly happened against league newbies the NJ Wildcats.

The table-topping Lancaster Inferno team proved why they are leading the East Mid-Atlantic Conference by five points after dominating their game against the Select, winning with seven unanswered goals at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield.
